Believe it or not . . . Your Homeowner’s Insurance does NOT COVER damage incurred by an earthquake. You need specific insurance for that event. Ron is one of the few people who enjoys reading insurance policies and ferreting out what’s covered and what’s not, when a special rider is needed, and when an individual policy is needed.
