Body Found Dumped on 210 Freeway
Authorities are investigating two crime scenes in connection with a body found on a local freeway.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department homicide bureau is investigating the shooting death of a white, adult female who was discovered dumped on the La Crescenta Avenue offramp of the 210 Freeway Friday afternoon.
Simultaneously, deputies are investigating what they believe to be the attempted suicide of an adult male on the 2 Freeway south at Mountain Street. Witnesses told authorities the male was seen with the female victim before her death. He is a suspect in the shooting, and was taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was still there, as of 11 p.m., according to the sheriff's department, and his condition remains unknown.
Authorities found the body at approximately 5:18 p.m Friday evening.

Previously: Lanes of the westbound 210 at the La Crescenta Avenue off-ramp and the southbound 2 Freeway at Mountain Street were closed indefinitely Friday afternoon after a woman's body was discovered near the 210 freeway offramp. The woman was found with gunshot wounds to the upper torso, said Sgt. Erick Kim of the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station.
Kim added that authorities are investigating a car on the southbound 2 Freeway.

KTLA has reported that two suspects have been arrested, one of them apparently injured and taken to the hospital for treatment. KTLA also reported that authorities apprehended the suspects near the southbound 2 Freeway.
Sgt. Kim did not confirm the apprehension of the two suspects, but said that two crime scenes are being investigated: the location of the body and the car on the 2 Freeway.
Both the Glendale Police Department and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department are on scene.
