Crime Blotter: Burglars Leave Lawn Strewn With Beer Bottles, Trash
The following reports were taken from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Crescenta Valley Station. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Four incidents of crime were reported in La Cañada Flintridge this week.
Between 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 29 and 3:45 p.m. on Dec. 31, a victim reported that her 2011 Honda CRV was vandalized in the 4300 block of Belaire Drive. The victim noted that an unidentified suspect had made several scratches on the vehicle's side door, totaling a 12-inch by 18-inch area.
A residential burglary was reported in the 1600 block of Foothill Boulevard between 10 a.m. on Dec. 30 and 4 p.m. on Jan. 1. After returning home from a vacation, the homeowner noted that an unidentified suspect had entered the property and stole several items. The victim noted that both side gates to the residence were opened and that beer bottles, tampons and other miscellaneous trash were strewn across the yard. Several items were broken in the yard including a green cast iron bench, a concrete wall, a bird feeder and two plant posts. Six solar ground lights were also stolen from the yard. No witnesses were reported.
A residential burglary was reported in the 300 block of Oriole Road between 11 a.m. on Dec. 30 and 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 1. After returning home from vacation, the homeowner noted that an unidentified suspect had entered her residence and stole several jewelry items from a locked drawer. The victim saw that her alarm pad indicated triggered activity in the residence, but the security company was not notified because the home phone line had been cut. Stolen items included three gold bracelets embedded with diamonds and stones, 25 gold and silver earrings and a bracelet with a large pearl and several embedded diamonds. The homeowner noted that the living room door was unlocked and it was likely the suspect entered and exited through the door.
Between 11 p.m. on Dec. 31 and 8 a.m. on Monday a victim reported that two garage door openers and a Louis Vuitton wallet were stolen from his vehicle in the 5300 block of Jessen Drive. The vicim noted that his vehicle was locked and the items were stolen from the side door panel.
