Burglary
Deputies responded to , 1327 Foothill Blvd., Friday, June 3 at 7:15 a.m. A gardener, employed by the city, told deputies that while blowing leaves and dirt from around the electrical room of the building, he noticed the metal door latch had been broken off and the doors slightly open. Nothing appeared damaged or missing from the room, which contains a telephone panel, switches, and electrical wiring for lights and a sprinkler system.
Petty Theft From Vehicle

A female resident in the 4200 block of Encinas Drive reported to deputies that some time between 10 p.m. Saturday, May 28 and 4 a.m. the following Sunday, GPS devices were stolen from both of her unlocked cars. A Tom Tom GPS valued at $100 and a Magellan GPS valued at $130 were taken from separate vehicles parked at the location. The victim noted in the report that she never locks her cars because “she feels safe in her neighborhood.”
