Benefit Show for LCHS Musical

One night only! 

Come delight in an  uproarious version of Shakespeare as you've never seen it before -- and support the upcoming high school musical too!

 The advanced drama class at La Canada High School will offer an encore performance of  "A Midsummer Night's Dream" on Thursday, May 3 at 7 pm -- with all proceeds to benefit the school-wide musical "Hello Dolly!"  

 Directed by Justin Eick, this brilliant interpretation of  Shakespeare's classic play-within-a-play will have the whole family laughing at the antics of  four lovers, a band of fairies and a bumbling tailor  on a fantastical adventure one summer eve.  

The money raised on May 3 will go to the June production of "Hello Dolly!" -- the musical masterpiece full of unforgettable songs including "Put on Your Sunday Clothes," "Before the Parade Passes By," and " So Long Dearie."

"Hello Dolly!" will  open  Thursday, May 31 and run through Sunday, June 3 in the La Canada Playhouse.
