The La Cañada Flintridge Public Works & Traffic Commission advises the city council on street improvement and maintenance, according to its website, as well as other infrastrucure such as "parks, trees, planted medians, traffic signals, [and] storm drains. The commission meets monthly on the third Wednesday.
