Siel Ju is the author of two poetry chapbooks: Might Club from Horse Less Press and Feelings Are Chemicals in Transit from Dancing Girl Press. Her poems and stories have appeared in Denver Quarterly, The Missouri Review, Drunken Boat, ZYZZYVA, LIT, and other places. More of her work can be found at www.sielju.com.

Anna Scotti teaches middle school English at a French international school in Los Angeles, and is a working poet who has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize several times. She has also been the recipient of, or a finalist for, poetry prizes offered by Crab Creek Review, The Comstock Review, and other literary magazines, and her work appears frequently in Chautauqua. Earlier this year, Nikky Finney chose Scotti’s poem, “Tanager,” for the Pocotaligo Prize (Yemassee). Before embarking on a teaching career, Scotti was a widely published journalist, writing columns forInStyle and the late, great Buzz magazine, as well as features for nationals from Redbook to Traveling in Style. Scotti is writing a YA novel about a girl and a dog who rescue each other in an unexpected way. Find her poetry and a few short fiction pieces at www.annakscotti.com.

Sean Bernard lives and teaches creative writing in Southern California, where he serves as Fiction Editor for The Los Angeles Review and also edits the journal Prism Review. He holds degrees from Arizona, Oregon State, and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and his fiction has appeared or is forthcoming in journals including Epoch, CutBank, LIT, Glimmer Train, and Sequestrum. His debut collection, Desert sonorous, won the 2014 Juniper Prize, and he’s won grants and other awards from groups including Oregon Literary Arts, the University of Arizona Poetry Center, Poets & Writers, and, in 2012, a literary fellowship from the NEA. Studies in the Hereafter (Red Hen Press, 2015) is his first novel.
