Where to Celebrate New Year's Eve
Ring in the new year in style in La Cañada Flintridge and its neighboring cities.

Christmas has already come and gone and New Year's Eve is just three days away. While La Cañada Flintridge isn't exactly known for it's lavish nightlife, there are plenty of fun ways to ring in the new year close to home. Whether you want to dance, drink or dine, we've got the right event for you.
1. Noon Year's Eve Balloon Drop
Before you head out for evening festivities, ring in the "noon" year with the kiddies at Kidspace Children's Museum in Pasadena. The festivities, which begin promptly at 10 a.m., include plenty of music, sparkling cider and dancing. Kids can make their own party hats and noise makers before enjoying a live music performance at 11:30 a.m. Be sure to arrive early, the balloon drop is at noon sharp!
Kidspace Children's Museum is located at 480 N. Arroyo Blvd., Pasadena. Event is free with admission.
2. New Year's Eve at Noor
If a big New Year's Eve bash is more your style, Pasadena's Noor is the place for you. From 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. munch on complimentary appetizers and sip martinis from the venue's open bar. For $85 presale ($110 at the door), you can dance to the pulsing beats of Radio DJ of the Year, DJ Creativity and welcome 2012 with a champagne toast at midnight.
Noor is located at 260 E. Colorado Blvd., Pasadena. Call (626) 793-4518 or visit itsmysteat.com/noor to purchase tickets.
3. New Year's Eve Festivities at the Langham
End the year in style with a lavish five or seven course prix fixe menu at The Royce at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena. The first seating--from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.--is $155 per person without wine and $210 with wine. While the second seating--from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.--is a tad more expensive at $180 without wine and $250 with wine, you'll dine closer to midnight celebrations. If you'd rather dance the night away, celebrate with live music at the lobby lounge from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m.. For just $75, the hotel lounge offers wine champagne, hors d'oevres and a delectable desserts station.
