Republican Club dinner Sept.1, at the Thursday Club

Jimmy Weldon is the author of “Go Get ‘Em Tiger” (Becoming the person you want to be) and has made several CD’s. His true passion is his foundation, “The Center for Youth Patriotism”, speaking to young teachers of tomorrow.

He began his career as a disc jockey in Dallas, TX. While there he developed a character named Webster Webfoot. When he moved to California, he started his TV career on KCOP with Webster. His movie career began when Jeff Chandler, Randolph Scott, and Ralph Edwards saw him in an appearance at a middle school.

Because of his Webster voice, he earned the voice-over for the Hanna-Barbera cartoon, Yankee Doodle. He also has had appearances on numerous television programs.
