Republican Club Dinner, Tuesday, 10/6, will explore Common Core.

La Canada students did OUTSTANDING on the Common Core tests, but what did they learn?

Darcy Brandon will speak on Common Core in our Public Schools. This issue is of such importance that you don’t want to miss attending. Darcy became involved with Common Core in 2012 through her involvement in the Poway School District. Other school districts have joined the cause as they discover the dangers of Common Core. She has done countless hours of research on education reform in the United States that has led up to the implementation of Common Core. She has challenged principals and school boards, has been the driving force behind bringing nationally recognized, educational experts to San Diego to speak to the public as part of the Citizens for Quality Education outreach which included coordinating the state-wide “Unveiling Common Core” tour, which began in Northern California and culminated the “Common Core on Trial” hearing at the Orange County Board of Education.
