$3K Grant Awarded To Laguna Community Concert And Jazz Band
The grant was awarded by the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts Foundation on Tuesday.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Laguna Community Concert and Jazz Band has something big to celebrate, after the group received a $3,000 grant from the Festival of Arts Foundation, organizers announced Tuesday.
The Laguna Community Concert Band and the Laguna JaZz Band perform free concerts year-round, bringing live music to Laguna Beach residents and visitors alike.
“We are very grateful to receive this funding from the Festival of Arts Foundation,” Mark Lowery, director of the Laguna Community Concert Band, told Patch. “Without their support, it would not be possible for us to perform. The Festival of Arts has always supported performing and visual artists and their generosity allows so many artistic groups to flourish in Laguna Beach. We are truly fortunate to be among the grant recipients and to be a part of this special community."
