Badge Pinning Ceremony Honors New Fire Chief
The Laguna Beach fire department invited all to a ceremony that will honor the new fire chief, Michael Garcia.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Laguna Beach Fire Department has a new chief, and all are invited to witness the "badge pinning" ceremony on Monday at 8 a.m. at the City Council Chambers.
Chief Garcia brings over 32 years of fire experience to the position, and took over duties as the City’s Fire Chief on April 30th, 2018. All are invited to attend Chief Garcia’s pinning ceremony.
Parking is available at the corner of Forest Avenue and Laguna Canyon Road in Lot 11.
Refreshments and cake will be served after the ceremony at Fire Station #1.

"I am honored in being selected to lead the Laguna Beach Fire Department, and I am humbled in becoming a part of such a great City Team. I couldn't ask for a better group of caring professionals, and I look forward to working with them as we plan for the future while continuing to provide excellent and responsive service to the community" Garcia said in a statement.
