Banner Contest Winners: Laguna Beach Celebrates 2017 Winners

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — After reviewing all entries, four local artists were selected to represent the City of Laguna Beach for 2017.

"This year, over thirty artists submitted prospective designs for the annual Banner Competition," the city of Laguna Beach announced.

The designs include starfish, children climbing the lifeguard tower ladder, a jumping fish, and stairs to the sand.

Four designs were selected by the Arts Commission to be painted on 4 x 16 foot banners that will be displayed on lampposts throughout the City of Laguna Beach during June, July and August of 2017.

The four selected artists were:

• Therese Conte
• Michael L Jacques
• Galen Ramos
• Jeffrey Skarvan
