Beach Volleyballers Play In The Rain: Laguna Beach Photo Of The Day
The best of the best beach volleyballers played on the city's Main Beach during the annual Laguna Open.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — After a scorching heat wave that rang in high temperatures, Laguna Beach's Main Beach was a fine place to be over the weekend as the city welcomed back the annual Laguna Open.
Laguna's Main Beach has been the venue for the Laguna Open since 1955, and the tourney is the longest-running beach volleyball tournament in history.
Local resident Susana Cruciana was taking a walk around Main Beach while it was raining on Saturday when she saw these beach volleyballers competing for the Laguna Open.

"I was surprised to see the Laguna Open yesterday in the rain," Susana said. "Some shots of women players brought back memories of when I competed in the '70s."
