Child Annoyance Suspect Faces Felony Stalking Charge In Laguna Beach
A 19-year-old man who was arrested in October on charges of child annoyance was arrested again on Sunday in Laguna Beach.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A 19-year-old man who was arrested in October on charges of child annoyance was arrested again on Sunday in Laguna Beach, the Laguna Beach Police Department said in a statement.
Gabriel Matthew Hernandez Stinnett now faces DUI charges after authorities responded to reports of an intoxicated man inside a car at a Jack in the Box parking lot in Laguna Beach. During the DUI investigation, officers also found that the suspect had been involved in a separate incident where he was stalking a youth.
He now faces felony stalking charges, as well as a DUI charge, authorities said.

Stinnett was originally arrested on suspicion of luring a Laguna Beach boy to his van Halloween weekend and was released a few days later, according to jail records.

He was taken into custody Oct. 30 night on suspicion of trying to lure a 13-year-old boy inside his gray Honda Odyssey van with the offer of candy, Laguna Beach Police Chief Jeff Calvert reported.
This was not the first time that Stinnett has been singled out, according to the Laguna Beach Police Department.
Police identified Stinnett as a suspect often seen "hanging around Laguna Beach High School with no legitimate purpose, and allegedly harassing and annoying children under the age of 18."
