City Switches Trash Services To CR&R: What To Know
Laguna Beach City Council members voted to approve an eight-year contract with CR&R at Tuesday's meeting.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach residents will be getting a new trash collection provider starting in 2024, after the city voted to approve an eight-year contract with CR&R.
The contract comes as the city's Solid Waste Franchise Agreement with Waste Management of Orange County gears up to expire on June 30, 2024.
According to the city, an eight-year service term with CR&R will start on July 1, 2024 with the potential for two one-year extensions based on satisfactory service.
