Fatal Hit-And-Run Victim ID As Santa Ana Resident
A Santa Ana man was identified following a Fatal hit and run, Monday

SANTA ANA, CA — Authorities Tuesday identified a man who died after being attacked by another man who then ran him over with a vehicle at Centennial Regional Park in Santa Ana.
The incident occurred about 7 p.m. Monday at the park in the 3000 block of West Edinger Avenue, said Santa Ana police Cmdr. Matt Sorenson. Louis Diaz, 22, of Santa Ana died at a hospital.
Investigators learned that Diaz was involved in a fight with another man during which he was hit at least once in the upper body with an unknown object before being run over by a vehicle that kept going, police said. No description was released of the suspect or his vehicle.
