Fireworks Light Up Laguna Beach Sky July 4: Photo Of The Day

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Hundreds of Laguna Beach residents gathered on Main Beach Monday to celebrate Independence Day and enjoy a dazzling fireworks show over the coast.

Photographer Mitch Ridder captured this gorgeous photograph of fireworks reflecting against the Main Beach Lifeguard Tower while residents look upward in awe.

Ridder's photography will be on display at the 2022 Festival of Arts Laguna Beach, which opens to the public Tuesday. Residents can also view more of his work on his website.
