Rain Floods Streets, Closes Roads In Laguna Beach
Several roads closed Thursday due to extreme flooding are now open, police say.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach officials closed roads due to heavy flooding, Thursday, but traffic was moving again by Friday morning.
Laguna Canyon Road was closed, both directions, due to extreme flooding during the storm. That roadway was reopened overnight.
Some businesses and residences along Laguna Canyon Road, including the Alternative Sleeping Location, were temporarily evacuated. Laguna Beach Police advised drivers to avoid that roadway until further notice.
