Free Ride: Laguna Beach Residents Dish On Favorite Trolley Stop

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach trolley service is once again up and running, and locals love to see them along the coastal and canyon routes.

The Summer Breeze trolley will continue to run Saturday and Sundays through September 5 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., according to the city.

Laguna Beach resident Susana Cruciana snapped a picture of a trolley sign and shared it with her neighborhood Facebook group.

"A positive sign this summer," she says. "Nice to see the trolleys rolling along again."

Summer Breeze/Trolley Service:

Canyon Route: Service on Laguna Canyon Road from LCAD (weekends only) and Act V peripheral parking lots to summer art festivals and downtown. 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., 7 days a week. Frequency: Every 20 minutes.

Coastal Route: Service on Coast Highway between North Laguna/Heisler Park, downtown, South Laguna/Mission Hospital and Ritz Carlton in Dana Point. 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., 7 days a week. Frequency: Every 30 minutes.

Summer Breeze: Service on Laguna Canyon Road from the free peripheral parking lot at Brandman University in Irvine (16355 Laguna Canyon Road) to art festivals and downtown. 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays only. Frequency: Every 30 minutes.
