Friday Wave Check

Mostly small along this stretch of sand.

Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report.  Well, we're looking at mostly small energy along this stretch of sand, but we could see a decent window once that tide fills-in a bit.

The conditions are starting off clean and glassy early on, with mainly some lingering south southwest swell and barely any northwest energy in the water.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods with some drained out sectiony lines, with a few workable corners on the small wave gear.  Most Laguna Beach spots are seeing knee to waist high waves, with the standout south facing breaks pulling a few plus sets.

Taking a look at the tides...at 6:13 this morning it dropped to a negative 0.4 low which will have some spots desperate for water early to mid-morning.  The tide then climbs back up to a 3.2 high at 12:58 this afternoon.

If you're going to grab a session at some point during the day, throw on at least your 3/2 fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature still on the cool side and hanging between 57 and 59 degrees.  Have fun out there!
