LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Have you taken a trip to the Laguna Beach shoreline lately? Even after the powerful winter storms of this year, tsunami warnings and surf advisories, the beauty of the Laguna Beach coast has gone largely interrupted.

Orange County resident photographer Christine Rombouts Sliney took a visit to Crystal Cove State Beach earlier this year and captured that scenic beauty with her camera on a cloudy winter's day.

Laguna Beach residents can enjoy the sights and sounds of Crystal Cove either by visiting for a day or by booking a cottage in advance, according to the Crystal Cove Conservancy. Residents interested in Crystal Cove cottage stays can create an account on ReserveCalifornia.com and plan out their Crystal Cove getaway online.

The Crystal Cove Conservancy additionally allows walk-ins after 11 a.m., though reservations are highly recommended.

Crystal Cove is one of Laguna Beach's most notable attractions, nestled in a bend along a stretch of the coastline between Newport and Laguna. Historically, it first attracted Hollywood film makers in the '20s — and "seasonal tent-dwellers" in the '30s, according to the Crystal Cove Conservancy.
