Get Out: What To Do This Weekend in Laguna Beach

ELEVEN: A DANCE PERFORMANCE
Where/When: Artists Theatre at Laguna Beach High School, 625 Park Ave., Thurs.-Sat., 7:30 p.m.
Why go: Move to the groove of Laguna Beach High School students dancing in the style of 11 choreographers, to the music of Earth, Wind and Fire, Snoop Dogg and others.
Price: $8-$18.

FIRST THURSDAYS ART WALK
Where/When: Galleries and open shops all around town. Thursday, 6-9 p.m. That's tonight, BTW ...
Why go: Well, it is a free night filled with entertainment and cultural immersion after a quick ride downtown in your car or on the free shuttle. So that.
Price: Free. 

LOCAL VOCALS OPEN MIC NIGHT
Where/When: No Square Theatre (Legion Hall), 384 Legion St., Fri., 7-10 p.m.
Why go: Hang out and join your local neighbors to sing your favorites while Roxanna Ward plays the piano. Food and drinks are on hand.
Price: $5 at the door.

JESSI KIRBY SIGNS HER NOVEL, MOONGLASS
Where/When: Crystal Cove Book Store at Crystal Cove State Park
Why go: Jessi Kirby, a young adult novelist, signs her debut book that's set in Crystal Cove, with all sales from this event directly benefitting the Crystal Cove Alliance in its mission of restoration and education within Crystal Cove State Park.
Price: Free to attend.
