13TH ANNUAL LAGUNA PLEIN AIR PAINTERS ASSOCIATION INVITATIONAL PAINTING COMPETITION
WHERE/WHEN: Events continue throughout Laguna Beach all week long, including a Saturday night soiree and a public art show and sale on Sunday.

PRICE: Most events are free. There is a $15 parking fee at the Crystal Cove event. The "Collectors' Soiree" costs $125 for Laguna Art Museum members and $150 for non-members.

"SCHOOLPOWER," THE LAGUNA BEACH EDUCATION FOUNDATION HOSTS A MAJOR DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT
WHERE/WHEN: Dugger and North Gyms at Laguna Beach High School, 625 Park Avenue. The Junior League Tournament begins at 4 p.m. and the Open Adult Tournament begins at 5.
WHY GO? Imagine you are Peter La Fleur, Steve the Pirate, or Fran Stalinovskovichdavidovitchsky. Play dodgeball, eat Alvaro's tacos, win a prize for best costume and raise money for Laguna Beach's public schools ... or just come watch the insanity. Enjoy a heckuva fun time for a great cause. SALTFINEART GALLERY HOSTS VICTOR HUGO ZAYAS' KINETIC EXHIBITION
