<p>LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach's annual KelpFest is underway, and residents were encouraged to get out and enjoy the fun and free family event this Saturday, June 3. </p><p>At the festival, residents can learn about the vibrancy of Laguna Beach's marine-protected areas, experience live art creation, try some edible kelp snacks, check out displays and engage with environmental groups. </p><p>The annual KelpFest takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Main Beach. </p><p>Afterward, the fun continues with an after-party at Laguna Beach Beer Company from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with all proceeds going to support Laguna Ocean Foundation programs. </p>
