Laguna Beach Concert Band Receives 3K Grant From Festival Of Arts
The grant money will go toward helping the organization realize its mission of bringing the joy of live music to Laguna Beach.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The Laguna Community Concert and Jazz Band recently received a $3,000 grant from the Festival of Arts Foundation, the concert band announced on Thursday.
The grant money will go toward helping the organization rent concert venues in Laguna Beach, purchase music and produce virtual and live recordings of their concerts, according to a Laguna Community Concert Band news release.
Now in it's 22nd season, the Laguna Community Concert Band and the Laguna Jazz Band perform concerts all year-round. They kicked off their season on May 15 at the Laguna Beach Artists Theatre with a concert of Western-inspired music titled, "Back in the Saddle Again."

From playing at the annual Fête de la Musique on June 18 to performing at the Festival of Arts on July 17 and 27, the donated funds will help the Laguna Community Concert and Jazz Band continue their mission of bringing the excitement of live music to Laguna Beach residents and visitors alike.
