Laguna Beach Library Pauses In-Person Programs Indefinitely
Orange County's Public Library branches are going virtual, once again as coronavirus cases surge.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach's Public Library has paused all in-person programs, the Orange County Public Library system announced Friday.

As coronavirus cases surge through Orange County at rates not seen since the early 2020 pandemic, Orange County's public library system is making some changes to stem the rate of infection.
Inside the library, face masks are required to be worn in all indoor public settings, regardless of vaccine status until Feb. 15.

In Mission Viejo, libraries are taking things one step closure, remaining open by appointment only, the city reported in a recent statement.
“Staff members expect these measures will only be in place for two to three weeks but are actively monitoring the situation and will adjust as needed,” the city of Mission Viejo reported.

Appointments are available every half hour and can be made here. Study room reservations also qualify as an appointment in Mission Viejo.
