Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's looking pretty small along this stretch of sand, so you just might want to do a little driving further south where you can still find some playful-sized surf.
The conditions are starting off fairly clean, but watch for the possibility of some southerly winds in the A.M. hours, which could put some texture or even light bump on it depending on where you're paddling.
We're seeing mainly leftover south swell and not much northwest windswell to speak of. That recipe is offering some drained-out sectiony lines, with not a lot to work with. Things should improve a bit once that tide fills in. Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee- to thigh-high, with the top south facing breaks seeing some waist-high plus sets.

At 7:24 this morning, the tide drops to a 0.0 low, which will have many spots lacking water and really inconsistent early- to mid-morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.1 high at 2:15 this afternoon.
If you're going to get wet, well, that water temperature is feeling fairly nice, so you'll need no more than a thin fullsuit for an A.M. session with it averaging between 62 and 64 degrees. Good luck out there!
