Laguna Beach Police officers were out in force over Labor Day, finding burglary suspects, making traffic stops, and breaking up parties.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach police officers answered the call of residents in need throughout Labor Day from morning through night.
According to the police department event register, multiple traffic and pedestrian stops were completed in the area of Laguna Canyon Road, Broadway Street, and Coast Highway.

All drivers complied to the police, and multiple drivers were arrested, cited and then released, according to reports. Several calls out on Labor Day involved disorderly people, according to police.

Officers pulled over a suspected drunk driver just after 1 a.m. Labor Day morning on the 1100 block of South Coast Highway.

Officers dealt with one early morning disturbance at just after 7:30 a.m. near the 31800 block of Coast Highway.

A car was reported burgled just before 8 a.m. in the 700 block of North Coast Highway. One was arrested, cited and released in that case, according to police.

Officers completed a coyote call out at 11:30 a.m., in the area of Diamond Street and Glenneyre Street.

A collision occurred near the 2300 block of Laguna Canyon Road at 3 p.m., officers reported. No one was injured in the crash, according to police.
Officers sought a racing motorist around 8 p.m. in the area of South Coast Highway and Diamond Street.

Police assisted a stranded motorist at just before 8:30 p.m. near Park Avenue and Tahiti Avenue.

Officers were out on sand patrol on the 100 block of Coast Highway at 9 p.m.
A structure fire was reported at just before 9:30 p.m. on the 20900 block of Castle Rock Road, according to police.

Multiple medical calls also were answered by police and Laguna Beach Firefighters.
