Laguna Beach Trophy Invitational Returns After 2 Year Delay

The track and field event starts Saturday and draws hundreds of athletes and their families from all over Southern California.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — After a two-year hiatus, the Laguna Beach Trophy Invitational event returns to Laguna Beach High School Saturday, and the school district expects roughly 1,100 athletes to participate throughout the day.

Laguna Beach residents can expect parking to be impacted around Thurston Middle School, 2100 Park Ave., and City Parking Lots throughout Laguna Beach. A shuttle will be running from Thurston Middle School, and the city said parking is also available throughout the downtown area.

Parking will be restricted on both sides of Short Street, between Legion and El Camino Del Mar from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., a spokesperson for the city said in a statement.
