Waking up with the waves on Friday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Patch surf report. Well, it's starting to back down, but we're still seeing of plenty of playful-sized waves.
The conditions are starting off fairly clean, but once again don't be surprised if there's some southerly winds in the a.m. hours, which means there could be some texture on the surface at some spots.
As far as the surf goes ... we have mainly easing south-southwest swell and minimal northwest windswell in the water. That recipe is offering this stretch of coast with some crumbly racy lines, with some fun pick-and-choose corners.

Most spots in Laguna Beach are seeing knee- to stomach-high waves, with the top south-facing breaks pulling chest-high waves, with some shoulder-high-plus sets.
Checking the tides ... at 10:43 this morning it climbs up to a 4.2 high and then drops to a 1.7 low at 3:47 this afternoon. If you're going to get wet, well, the water temperature is feeling really nice, so a spring suit is more than enough, with it averaging between 67 and 69 degrees. Have fun out there!
