Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're seeing a little bit of an increase in the energy out there. Overall, it's still pretty small and weak along this stretch of sand.
The conditions are looking pretty clean and glassy from the start, with a minor mix of some southwest swell and a touch of leftover northwest windswell in the water.
That recipe is providing some fairly crumbly lines, with a few decent ones on a log or an SUP. Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee high, with the the standout combo breaks pulling thigh high waves, with a few waist high plus sets.

Taking a look at the tides ... at 8:17 this morning the tide drops to a 0.8 low and then climbs back up to a 5.2 high at 3:15 this afternoon. If you're going to grab a session, a short sleeve fullsuit or even a spring suit will work, with the water temperature averaging between 64 and 67 degrees. Good luck out there!
