Laguna Beach Wave Check: Thursday

More of the same!

Good Thursday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're looking at more of the same out there today. Yep, the fairly small stuff is with us for another day.

We have some pretty clean conditions from the start, with a mixture of the continued minor northwest windswell and some small south-southwesterly energy in the water.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods some soft sectiony lines, with the occasional fun one on a big board of some sort. Most spots in Laguna Beach are seeing knee- to waist-high-plus waves, with the focal points pulling an occasional plus set.

Taking a look at the tides ... at 9:27 this morning, it pushes up to a 3.8 high, then drops to a 2.3 low at 1:58 this afternoon before climbing up again to a 6.4 high at 8:13 this evening.

If you're going to get in the water, you'll need no more than a springsuit, with it averaging at most spots between 66 and 68 degrees. Have fun out there!
