Laguna Beach Wave Check: Tuesday

Good day for a paddle!

Good Tuesday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, since there's hardly any surf ... you might as well get out in the water and enjoy the nice weather and water temperature. Yep, we're looking at more minimal energy out there.

The conditions are starting off nice and glassy, with a mixture of some super small southwest swell and a little lingering northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is making for some pretty weak little lines, with a few that'll get you going on a log or an SUP. Most spots in Laguna Beach are running about ankle- to knee-high, with the standout combo breaks pulling some thigh- to waist-high waves.

Taking a look at the tides ... at 8:33 this morning, it climbs up to a 3.3 high and then barely drops to a 2.7 low at 12:20 this afternoon and then pushes up again to a 5.7 high at 6:49 this evening.

If you're planning on paddling, a spring suit is ideal for that morning session, with the water temp at most spots hanging between 66 and 68 degrees. Have fun!
