Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, she's still having a difficult time showing any real signs of life out in the Pacific. Yep, basically we're dealing with more minimal energy along this stretch of coast. So your best bet would be to do some driving down south a bit!
The conditions are looking fairly clean early on with a minor combination of southwest swell and some northwest windswell in the water. That recipe is delivering some fairly soft lines, with a few fun ones on the small wave gear.
Most spots in Laguna Beach are pulling knee- to maybe waist-high waves, with the standout breaks pulling not much more than that. Taking a look at the tides ... at 8:44 a.m it drops to a 1.0 low, which will have many breaks pretty inconsistent early to mid-morning. The tide then climbs back up to a 4.4 high at 3:50 this afternoon.

If you're planning on paddling, well, that water temperature has finally warmed up, so you'll want to wear no more than a thin fullsuit in the morning with it hanging between 63 and 65 degrees. Have fun out there!
