Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're basically back to the smaller stuff, with a few playful-size waves coming through. You can break out just about any board out of the old quiver today!
We're starting off with some pretty clean conditions early on. As far as the surf goes ... we're seeing the continued decreasing energy out there. We have some leftover south-southwest swell and some very minimal northwest windswell in the water.
That recipe is offering some workable lines, with a few fast corners to be had. Most spots in Laguna Beach are seeing knee- to waist-high-plus waves, with the top south facing breaks pulling some stomach-high waves, with the occasional bigger one.

Checking the tides ... there's not a lot of change. At 9:53 this morning it climbs up to a 3.6 high and then drops to a 2.4 low at 2:10 this afternoon. If you're planning on paddling, a short sleeve full or a spring suit will do you right with the water temperature averaging between 64 and 66 degrees. Good luck out there!
