Laguna Beach Wave Check: Wednesday

Very weak energy!

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, unfortunately it looks like this minimal amount of energy is going to be with us for at least the next few days.

Yep, there's hardly any wave activity along this stretch of coast. The conditions are starting off nice and glassy from the start. We have some very small south swell and a hint of the residual northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is providing some weak little dribblers, with a few loggable ones. Most spots in Laguna Beach are running about ankle to shin high, with the top combo breaks pulling an occasional plus set.

Checking the tides ... at 7:28 this morning the tide drops to a 0.1 low and then pushes back up to a 4.8 high at 2:08 this afternoon. If you're going to get wet, at least the water is warm, so throw on a springsuit with it averaging between 64 and 67 degrees. Good luck out there!
