Laguna Beach's Youth City Track Meet: Sign Up Information 2023

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The annual Youth City of Laguna Beach Track Meet is scheduled for the last day of March, with openings for our younger residents, between 6 and 14 years old, according to the city.

The city-wide youth track meet will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on March 31 at Laguna Beach High School's Guyer Field, located at 625 Park Avenue.

Entry to the track meet is $20 per child.

"Children run in heats with others their own age and can participate in springs or longer runs," a spokesperson for the event said. "Heats include short sprints of 50, 100, 200 meters or longer runs of 400, 800 and 1600 meters."

During the track meet, field events will also be included, along with a long jump category and a 12-foot softball throw, according to organizers.

"The top three winners in each category age division will advance to the county track meet," they said.
