"If landscape contractors or other contractors are using leaf blowers on properties, the Property Owner(s) will receive a courtesy notice upon the first violation," according to the code. "Subsequent Administrative Citations may follow should the violation persist. The prohibition of leaf blower use in the City is not only a noise/disturbance issue but also protects air and water quality in the City."
