Low Tide Revelations At Aliso Beach: Photo Of The Day

This gorgeous picture taken by a Laguna Beach resident shows a skimboarder surfing the waves at Aliso Beach during low tide.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA β€” When low tide comes around, you never know what you might find in Laguna Beach.

Laguna Beach resident Wendy Theders was walking Aliso Beach Wednesday when she spotted some colorful rocks unobstructed by the tide.

"The low tide and the receding water left the mossy rocks exposed at the south end of the beach," Wendy told Patch. "A good swell and a few skimboarders made for a great action shot."
