Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report. Well, if you like the smaller stuff, then there's no need to leave this stretch of sand! Yep, you'll want to get out the small wave gear if you're planning on paddling.
The conditions are starting off nice and clean, with a mixture of energy out there. We've got some residual south southwest swell and some minimal northwest energy in the water.
That recipe is offering this neck of the woods with some crumbly sectiony lines, with a few fun shoulders. Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee to waist high, with the standout breaks pulling a few stomach high sets.

At 11:16 later this morning the tide drops to a 0.4 low which will have some spots lacking water mid-day. The tide then climbs back up to a 4.0 high at 6:18 this evening.
If you're going to get wet, a 3/2 fullsuit will do the job, with the water temperature averaging between 57 and 59 degrees. Good luck out there!
