Monday Wave Check

Get out of town!

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Laguna Beach Patch surf report.  Well, your not going to find much in the way of waves along this stretch of sand, but if you do a little driving down south you can pick off a few playful size waves!

We're seeing some nice and groomed conditions early on, with a very minor mix of energy out there.  There's a little leftover northwest windswell and some fairly small south southwest energy in the water.

That recipe is offering this neck of the woods, with some pretty weak sectiony lines, with a few fun ones on a log or maybe a fish.  Most Laguna Beach spots are running about knee to thigh high, with the top combo breaks seeing some waist high sets.

Taking a look at the the tides...at 9:59 later this morning it pushes up to a 3.8 high and then drops to a 1.6 low at 3:04 this afternoon.  If you're going to get out there and go for a paddle...well that water temperature has taken another dip, so you might want to throw on that 4/3 fullsuit, with it averaging between 57 and 59 degrees.  Good luck out there!
