New Rules Approved For Laguna Beach Business Owners

The approval of the ordinance is an important step toward enhancing the city's commercial areas, Laguna Beach officials said.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — The City of Laguna Beach just took an important step toward enhancing the city's commercial areas by approving the first reading of an ordinance aimed at improving property maintenance and beautification.

The new ordinance requires all commercial property owners, including those with vacant properties, to maintain their properties in a clean, safe and visually appealing condition.

According to the city, this includes keeping building exteriors, sidewalks, parking areas and landscaping well-maintained and free from deterioration and hazards.
