New Shops Opening At Irvine Spectrum Center

IRVINE, CA – Irvine Spectrum Center will show off a new wing of businesses this weekend. The Irvine Co., which owns the Irvine shopping center, poured $200 million into renovations and new eateries and shops, including an Apple store.

"We are excited to introduce these new, renowned brands with local roots to Irvine Spectrum Center's wide range of world-class shopping, dining and entertainment choices," said Butch Knerr, the Irvine Co.'s president of retail properties. "This major reinvestment elevates the center's visitor experience and underscores our long-term commitment to enhancing the Orange County retail landscape."

The shops to debut at the shopping center on Saturday include:

-- Hello Kitty Cafe, going from a pop-up to permanent shop, a first for the brand;
-- H&M clothing store;
-- STANCE, a socks and underwear store;
-- Gorjana, which sells locally designed jewelry;
-- 85 Degrees C Bakery Cafe, which offers gourmet bread, desserts and beverages;
-- BLKdot Coffee;
-- Afters Ice Cream;
-- Concrete Rose, a boutique clothier;
-- Falasophy, a Lebanese restaurant;
-- Robata Wasa, a Japanese food restaurant;
-- SoHa Living, a Hawaii-flavored home and gift store;
-- The Denim Lab jeans store;
-- Ra Yoga, which offers yoga classes and therapy; and
-- UnAffected, a woman's clothing store.

Later this year and into next year, the Spectrum will also open Brigade LA, a luxury designer boutique; Drybar, a beauty salon; Sephora, beauty goods store; and SST&C, a Milan-based men's clothing store.
