OC Man Severely Burned In Aliso Beach Truck Fire

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A Lake Forest man was severely burned in a truck fire Tuesday at Aliso Beach, police said. The Laguna Beach Fire Department arrived at the scene to find the person, who's name was withheld, inside the Toyota Tacoma pickup that was fully engulfed in flames, they said.

The truck was in an Aliso Beach parking area just off of South Coast Highway, according to the police.

"The man was flown by helicopter from Aliso Beach in Laguna Beach at around 9 a.m. in grave condition,” LBPD Sgt. Jim Cota said.

The Laguna Beach Police Department and Orange County Fire Authority were investigating the cause of the fire.
