Pretty Starfish At Shaw's Cove In Laguna Beach: Photo Of The Week

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Life is beautiful underwater. This shot that Laguna Beach resident Wendy Theders took in Shaw's Cove is a testament to that fact. Theders took this shot of Laguna Beach marine life early morning while she and the Laguna Beach Open Water Swimmers were out for their morning swim.

Theders is a marathon ocean swimmer, she told Patch in a previous interview. She snaps gorgeous shots of her fellow swimmers and underwater marine wildlife with her trusty GoPro in tow every morning, and we at Patch consider this photo just dazzling.

"I swim at Shaw’s every morning with [the] group," Theders told patch. "The reef with the starfish is just south, under the gazebo... [The] best light is morning when the sun is rising."
