Register For Pumpkin-Carving Contest In Laguna Beach
Laguna Beach residents who submit an award-winning pumpkin will have that pumpkin on display at the Promenade for the Halloween season.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Do you have what it takes to carve the best pumpkin in town? The City of Laguna Beach is hosting its 3rd annual Pumpkin Carving Contest, and residents must register by Wednesday in order to be a part of the fun.
According to a city news release, pumpkins will be judged in several categories including: Most original, scariest, best overall, best overall kid and mayor's award. Pumpkins may be carved, painted, airbrushed or sculpted.
Award-winning pumpkins will be put on display at the Promenade from Oct. 28 through Nov. 1, the city said.

To participate, residents must pre-register by 5 p.m. Wednesday. Residents can register for the contest by visiting the City of Laguna Beach's website.
