Serial Pharmacy Burglary Suspect Detained In Laguna Beach
A suspect in multiple pharmacy burglaries was found in Laguna Beach.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A 27-year-old Brea man suspected of burglarizing at least three Southland pharmacies over the past year was found in Laguna Beach, officials say.
Albony Williams, 27 of Buena Park, was discovered in Laguna Beach on Tuesday, and detained by local authorities before being turned over to Thousand Oaks Police, according to reports.
He is thought to have broken into two pharmacies on three occasions, by "breaking through the wall of a neighboring business," the VC Star reports. The burglaries took place over a one year period of time from May of 2019 to March of 2020, police say.

On Oct. 13, a warrant was served at Williams' home, where police found several guns, ammunition and money, as well as evidence that connected him with the burglaries. He was not home, but was discovered, later in Laguna Beach.
Williams was detained by detectives without incident, bringing an end to a year-long investigation by Thousand Oaks deputies.

Williams has a history of commercial burglary arrests according to a report in the VC Star. He was arrested on three counts of commercial burglary, and his bail is set at $250,000.
