Skimboarders Enjoy Vibrant Aliso Beach Sunset: Photo Of The Day

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — There is a time of day when the world gets quiet, the sun has set, and the colors explode into vibrance. That moment was captured Sunday by local Laguna Beach photographer Wendy Theders.
"Aliso Beach was full of people admiring the sunset," Theders told Patch. "But this skimboarder [was] the only one in the water."
The skimboarder played in the small surf until the sun was completely submerged into the sea, Theders said.
