Swimming In Laguna Beach: Masters Swimming Classes Return
Laguna Beach High School Swimming Coach Michael Collins is offering two free classes at the Laguna Beach Community Pool.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Is lap swimming your thing? Masters Swimming may be for you.
Laguna Beach High School head swimming coach Michael Collins is offering two free classes to give a sample of the Masters Swimming Program.
"The masters swimming program is designed for motivated athletes age 18 and up looking to improve their technique, build endurance, speed and performance, and race preparation skills for pool, open water, or triathlon swimmers," Collins writes.

These free classes will be on December 6th and 8th from 7 am-8 am. All you need to do is register online using the links below:
The Laguna Beach Community and High School Pool offers daily lap and recreational swim times. It is heated to 80 degrees year-round, with ten 25-yard lap lanes and an attached shallow kids pool.

Please see the above pool schedule for December 2021, and note the following closures:
- The pool will be closed after 12pm on Sunday, December 5.
- The pool will be closed after 10am on Wednesday, December 22.
- There will be no evening lap swim on Friday, December 24 and Friday, December 31.
- The pool will be closed all day on Saturday, December 25 and Saturday, January 1.
Punch passes and fall season passes are still available for purchase online; registration for the 2022 annual pass is available as well. Families can purchase a pool pass through the city.
